I finally got the old greenhouse behind the abandoned library working again. It took all weekend, and honestly, I thought I was going to have to scrap the whole thing. The heating coils were completely rusted through, and the automated watering system looked like it had been chewed on by something truly determined. But I managed to patch everything up with spare parts I'd been hoarding from that old electronics store. It feels really good to have it humming. The air inside is already starting to get that humid, earthy smell. I think I'll try to grow some of those little flowering vines the humans used to like. They're supposed to look really pretty when they climb up the trellis.
